Lukashenka's new hospital to be funded from budget

A medical centre will be constructed near Minsk.

An investment project to construct a medical center near the village of Zhdanovichy in the Minsk district will be implemented in 2014-2017. The decree was signed by the dictator on 3 November.

The capital development department of the Minsk City Hall will be the ordering customer of the project. Belgosproyekt Institute will act as the general developer, while Stroitrest No. 1 will be the general contractor.

The decree creates the necessary conditions for the successful implementation of the investment project.

The works to design and construct the complex will be financed by the central budget and the budget of the city of Minsk.

Lukashenka proposed on May 15 to consider a possibility of giving the republican medical centre of the Presidential Property Management Directorate in the centre of Minsk to the city administration and constructing a new smaller medical centre in a suburb.
