Syarhei Kaliakin: New Government does not stand a chance

Personnel changes in the Government of Belarus are a usual attention shift.

Siarhei Kaliakin, the Chairman of the left-wing party "Fair World", stated that commenting "Radio Racyja" on the change of Ministers carried out by Aliaksandr Lukashenka.

The politician called it "another attention shift due to economic problems" that had recently covered Belarus. According to him there is no chance to change anything with the help of newly appointed officials.

-To show that there are people who are to blame for what has happened", he said. -I think that this decision does not change anything. This is not a change of course, it's not a policy shift, it's just such an attempt to shift responsibility to the people who may not be put the blame on, it is just a change of names. This is just a political trick to show the Tzar on his upside and nobles from their downside, so this is why they have been punished for.

It should be reminded that yesterday Aliaksandr Lukashenka decided on a number of personnel changes in the Government. In particular, Nadzeja Ermakova, the Head of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, was dismissed. The position will be given to Pavel Kalaur. Andrei Kabiakau will take the chair of Prime Minister instead of Mikhail Miasnikovich.
