State Duma deputy offers to ban oil deliveries to Belarus

In this way the MP responded to the agreements between Lukashenka and Poroshenko.

Earlier in a phone conversation with Ukraine’s President the Belarusian dictator said that he was going to help Kyiv in “providing the economy with oil products”. A member of the State Duma Committee on the CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Ties with Compatriots, Roman Khudyakov said in an interview to “Govorit Moskva” radio station, that the news came upon him with a shock.

“We all know perfectly well that with these fuel and lubricants Ukraine fills tanks, armoured personnel carriers and other military equipment, which are taking part in the battles in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Is it possible Lukashenka does not realize that by helping Poroshenko, he disposes of the fraternal peoples of Ukraine?!” the deputy said.

He stressed that he considers the actions of the Belarusian leader to be unfriendly towards Russia, and called them “thoughtless.”

“In case Belarus would dare to make such moves, and in fact would be financing the war against Donetsk and Luhansk, then, to my mind, we should stop all deliveries of any fuel and lubricants to the territory of this country altogether,” Khudyakov said.

In the report on the official website of Lukashenka it is stated that Belarus understands the urgency of the problem of oil products supplies for Ukraine, especially considering the harvesting campaign in agricultural sector.
