Semyon Semenchenko: We are going to fight

Donbas battalion commander has called upon Ukrainians to get ready for defense of their country.

Semyon Semenchenko has commented on the ceasefire deal between separatists and authorities of Ukraine in Minsk. He has written that in his Facebook page.

“I do not what to do guesswork about the terms of the ceasefire,” Semyon Semenchenko stated. “It is not interesting for me. I do not want to think whether they are going to advance or receive a state inside Ukraine, financed by us. I do not want to think after what a period they are going to move further and how they are going to do that: in a military or political way. It is not interesting and not important.

It’s important what we do want. Do we want a strong Ukraine? Then let’s stand up from our sofas and go to a gym. Let’s attend paramedics’ courses, let’s learn how to shoot, let’s collect warm things for the army for autumn and winter. Instead of reading another posting on Facebook where someone is crying blue murder, “we have been betrayed”, let’s go and join hunters’ societies, a patriotic organisation, a battalion, a partisan unit or army.

Friends, it’s a long game, and we are its participants. DO not allow turning you into onlookers and everything is going to be fine Let’s do what should be done, and may God help us.”

We remind that today at the talks of the contact group including representatives of official Kyiv, “DNR” and “LNR” with participation of the OSCE, an agreement on ceasefire in Donbas since Friday 6 p.m. was signed.
