Belarusian soldier of Donbas battalion: Fortune favours the brave

A fighter with the call sign “Lev” shares details about breaking out of the Ilovaisk trap.

Belarusian citizens fighting in the Donbas volunteer battalion and Ukrainian troops broke out of the encirclement near the town of Ilovaisk. One of the fighters is a Belarusian nicknamed “Lev”, Belsat TV channel reports.

According to him, he transported wounded and killed people near Ilovaisk. They were transported in an ambulance and two trucks under cover of a armoured personnel carrier. The squad broke through Starobeshevo, where Russian tanks were reported to be seen. No one was wounded. “Fortune favours the brave,” Lev says.
