Poroshenko compared terrorist attacks in Paris to events in Donbas

Ukraine’s president Poroshenko doesn’t see any difference between the terrorist attack in France and the terrorist attacks taking place in Donbas.

The head of the state said so during his visit to the Embassy of France on Friday, January 9, Ukrinform writes.

“I just had an opportunity to repeat the words of condolences to the French nation, the president of France, demonstrating three very deep feelings. The first feeling is the deep sorrow, which I as a president express to France and French nation. The second one is solidarity with France in its fight against terrorism. And the third thing is our unity: France, Ukraine and the EU stand together against terrorism,” the President said.

He added that Ukraine knows what this struggle is about.

“I do not see a single difference between a terrorist attack (in France) and a bomb attack in a bar in Kharkiv; a terrorist attack against an office of volunteers in Odessa, or terrorist attacks which are happening on the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” the President stressed.

We remind that the day before an unknown man cool-bloodedly shot dead a police woman, who was present while a police report was drawn up after a traffic incident, and injured another policeman, and after that fled the scene.

On January 7 the unknown in masks entered the editorial office of a cartoon magazine called Charlie Hebdo and delivered fire. As a result of the terrorist attack, 12 persons were shot dead.
