Andrei Illarionov: Kremlin denies “independent existence” to Belarusians

Combat action in the Donbas region is only a part of the plan prepared by those who initiated the war.

It was said by Andrei Illarionov, a former advisor to the Russian president, BelaPAN reports.

According to him, victories on different fronts, including Belarusian, Baltic, Kazakh and first of all Russian ones, are needed to win Vladimir Putin, but the struggle will take a long time.

The Kremlin denies the Ukrainians and the Belarusians the right of “independent existence”, Illarionov thinks.

He notes that the current war is the survival war for Ukraine that has found itself on the brink of default. Russia will have to pay reparations for Ukraine, but Ukraine should gain a victory, Putin's advisor in 2000-2005 said.
