Lukashenka's Administration reviews the draft on "anti-sponger" decree

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection introduced a draft decree on "spongers" to Lukashenka's Administration.

Valery Kavalkou, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection, stated that, BelTA informs.

While Valery Kovalkov pointed out that the term "sponger" is not legalized in Belarus. "The President instructed to draft a legal act which would, in accordance with the Constitution, oblige the unemployed to participate in the financing of social expenditures. The draft legal act has been prepared and submitted in the established procedure to the President's Administration", he said.

The Deputy Minister added that there were no problems in the labor market. "Each officially unemployed has two vacancies. There is no place in Belarus with no job", he stressed.

It should be reminded that in the end of the last year it was transpired that Lukashenka was drafting an "anti-sponger" decree. On November 20 the document containing proposals of the Council of Ministers at struggle with "spongers" accessed to the Ministry of Interior Affairs for analytical evaluation.

In recent months the officials have been inventing more devious methods to milk dependants, 140 000 people, of money. It is proposed to imprison them, deprive of free health care and education services, and to impose $1000 tax per year. These innovations will affect all adult citizens of the Republic of Belarus, who do not pay into the treasury within six months.
