Nemtsov: Russia hit by mental epidemic aggravated by megalomania

28

Television hypnotises Russians, disables critical thinking and turns them into weak-willed devices to transmit official propaganda.

Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov wrote it on Facebook.

“Mentally ill and brainwashed people live in every society,” he notes. “It's normal as long as their number remains small, psychiatrists and hospitals can cope with them, mentally healthy people can distinguish themselves from the ill, society demonstrates immunity and develops.

I wouldn't have quoted Valov (in the picture) a year ago, but it's worth doing it now. There are many people like him. Russia is hit by a mental epidemic aggravated by megalomania. TV is the source of infection. It hypnotises citizens. People stop taking things critically and thinking rationally. They become weak-willed devices to transmit propaganda.”

Boris Nemtsov stressed that there's no sense in talking to and trying to convince hypnotised people.

“I attended hypnosis sessions and saw it with my own eyes. I am not susceptible to hypnosis, so I could see how it looked from the outside. How are people hypnotised? It is usually performed by a hypnotist, but not in our case. The hypnotist easily controls hypnotised people without will. They are loyal, obedient and believe the lies and nonsense they hear.

People can wake up when they are hungry. Hunger is no joke. No sweet words of propagandists will help if people run out of food.

Another way of waking up depends on those not susceptible to hypnosis. We take actions, but we should do more. Our energy can thwart the session of the dishonest hypnotist.

One more thing. TV is an instrument of brainwashing. The independent media that enjoy popularity among people can wake them up and return them to life. Their creation and support is a matter of Russia's future,” the politician writes.
