Makarevich sings song about Putin at Minsk café

The leader of Mashina Vremeni band arrived in Belarus, where the talks on resolving the Donbas crisis are held.

While the leaders of the Normandy Four are discussing the situation in eastern Ukraine, Andrei Makarevich sings songs about the Russian president in Minsk. As Nasha Niva reports, the musician unexpectedly played a song “Putin visits our Kholoyevo” at Loft café in Minsk.

The small café didn't have enough space for all Makarevich's fans. The audience included Belarusian opposition activists, including Maryna Adamovich and Milana Mikhalevich – the wives of Belarusian political prisoners.

Someone asked if it was true that the musician and the Russian president had made peace and flown to Belarus on the same plane. Makarevich laughed and answered it wasn't true.

He is reported to record a song in Belarusian for the project Dozen. Reset in a private studio.
