Volha Kavalkova: 2015 to go down in history as year of stupid laws and enactments

There have never been so many foolish initiatives before.

Such a statement has been made by a coordinator of the organizing committee for creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party in Minsk Volha Kavalkova, the press-service of the BCD informs.

“Within my recollection, there have never been so much foolishness at once – the tax rate increased to 13%, a tax of 30% collected for purchase of foreign currency, the ban on sales without accompanying documents and certificates since March 1, and fines for violations; the ban on use of foreign currency by insurers since March 1, increase of a minimal length of employment for granting labour pensions from 10 to 15 years, the new law on mass media, repayment of the land tax by organisations which use a simplified system of taxation (under the new Tax Code) and others,” she noted, also reminding about the initiatives which are being considered, like slapping a tax on unemployed, making it an offense to apply to state institutions repeatedly without due reason, and others.
