Rush job at MAZ: Lukashenka visits plant

Workers of the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) hurry to repair and paint facilities.

Workers can finally work full time after a number of idle periods.

However, work appeared not due new orders for vehicles but due to a big cleanup ahead of Aliaksandr Lukashenka's visit.

As UDF.BY learnt from a reader, MAZ workers hurry to repair and paint production facilities and clean the plant area. Workers received new uniform. Lukashenka is expected to visit the plant on May 15.

The ruler announced his visit to one of Belarus's biggest industrial manufacturers on April 28. Lukashenka is also going to visit the Minsk Tractor Plant and the Minsk Motor Plant.
