An agreement on Russian airbase in Belarus will be turn around and signed in confortable terms for Minsk and Moscow.

Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Prime Minister, stated to TASS, Radio Svaboda reports.

Today Dmitry Medvedev has been to Hrodna. He participated in a meeting of Intergovernmental Eurasian Radas.

"As for terms and time for signing documents, we believe that it should be comfortable to the Belarusian side, and for our country", Medvedev said.

The Russian Prime Minister said that Russia was ready to negotiate the signing of such agreements with any of its allies, recalled that such bases existed in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

"And there is nothing surprising, we are ready to do it with friendly countries, whether CSTO or CSTO plus Union Treaty, as in the case with Belarus", the Russian Head of the government said in the end.

On September 2 the Russian government adopted a draft regulation on deployment of a Russian airbase in Belarus. From the Russian side, the agreement will "contribute the joint protection of an external border of the Union State".

The reaction of official Minsk on this proposal has not been publicly voiced.
