Minsk Students Rounded Up For Belarusian NPP Construction

420 students called “fighters” by the state propagandists will be sent to another “construction of the century”.

18 students of the departments “Electric Stations” and “ Thermal Power Plants” will work under the rotating scheme since July 6 till August 22.

“Opening of the third working semester at the “all-Belarusian youth construction” in Astravets will take place on July 7. This year, over 420 people will work on construction of the objects of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant: 18 construction brigades, formed on the basis of the country’s educational establishments, and 5 lineal construction brigades from Russia. The fighters will perform concrete and mason works, various kinds of armouring, road and geodetic works, as well as assembling of metal constructions and heat-power equipment,” – BelTA informs.

We remind, it became known on May 4 that the first huge accident had happened at the construction site of the Astravets NPP: the stands of the future building of nuclear service had collapsed.

Lithuania’s State Security Department stated later that there had been a much more amplitudinous accident at the Belarusian NPP.
