Lukashenka Established Biotechnological Corporation

The Belarusian dictator assigned a decree “On organization of the high-tech integrated agricultural industry” on August 8.

As the press-service of Lukashenka informs, the decree provides for realization of high-priority, export-oriented and import-substituting investment project, which includes building of plants for the production of lysine, threonine and tryptophan, compound feed, oilseed processing in Pukhavichy region, as well as realization of the sub-project “Zemledelie” (“Agriculture”), which aim is cultivation of cereals, legumes and oil-bearing crops by agricultural organizations.

In accordance with the decree, the Closed Joint Stock Company "Belarusian National Biotechnological Corporation" is to be established. It will act as a customer for the design, construction and equipment of agro industrial business.

“As a result, new types of production, import-substituting products (lysine, threonine and tryptophan) as well as more than 1 thousand of new jobs will be created, which will ensure further development of Rudensk (a satellite-town of Minsk),” – the release states.
