Hit-To-Kill: Details Of Liquidation Of Su-27 Over Sevastopol Leaked In Russia

Russian "Pantsir" could have serious problems.

Yesterday, March 28, the Russian air defence destroyed by friendly fire its own Su-27 fighter over occupied Sevastopol.

This is reported by the Russian VChK-OGPU Telegram channel, which is allegedly linked to the Russian security services.

The resource assures that the board was destroyed with the help of the Pantsir missile and cannon system.

"For an unknown reason, the air defence did not receive notification of the taking-off of their Su-27. As a result of the fact that the Pantsir combat crew did not receive a response from the Su-27 pilot to its request, a decision was made to strike the aircraft to kill," the Russian channel reported.

It specified that the Pantsir had problems with the radar enquirer, as a result of which the crew was not able to contact the Su-27 pilot.

It should be noted that the destruction of the Su-27 took place in broad daylight in front of numerous observers. Eyewitnesses managed to film the accident on video. The aircraft, hit by a missile, crashed into the sea and exploded when it hit the water.

The pilot, according to Russian media, managed to leave the board before it collapsed. The military officer survived.
