Zelensky Arrives In Kharkiv, Reports About Situation In 'Difficult Direction'

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held a field headquarters meeting in Kharkiv. Given the difficult situation in this direction, among other things, it was decided to strengthen the AFU units.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Telegram of the Ukrainian President.

"As of today, the situation in Kharkiv region is as a whole under control, our soldiers are inflicting tangible losses to the occupier. But the direction remains extremely difficult - we are strengthening our units," he said.

To assess the situation, the President heard a detailed report of the Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky, commanders of the operational-strategic grouping of troops of "Khortytsa" Yuriy Sodol and operational-tactical grouping of troops of "Kharkiv" Mikhail Drapaty.

The heads of the Main Intelligence Directorate and of the SOF reported on the occupier's intentions, the head of the SSU - regarding counter-sabotage measures.

"A plan of further actions has been determined - both for the regional authorities of Kharkiv region, and for all structures responsible for security in the region," he said.

Also Zelensky heard reports of the heads of regional authorities from other border and frontline regions - the current situation, the main risks, key needs and gave appropriate instructions.
