Boat Carrying Russian Conscripts Carried Out To Open Sea In Crimea

The military personnel have not been found since April 30.

In the occupied Crimea, a boat carrying conscripts from the republics of the North Caucasus was carried out to sea, said Sergei Menyailo, Gauleiter of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. Now their search continues.

According to Menyailo, he received a video message from one of the mothers of servicemen.

“On April 30, three young people (two from North Ossetia and one from Dagestan), who were doing military service in the Republic of Crimea, went out to the open sea in a rubber rowing boat, despite the strong wind. According to some reports, their colleagues saw this and contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations,” he said.

Menyailo said that searches in the coastal zone have not yet yielded any results. The North Ossetian authorities contacted the military prosecutor's office.

“I’ve said this many times, and I’ll repeat it now: we don’t leave anyone in trouble, especially our fellow countrymen. We will make every effort to establish the whereabouts of the military personnel,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
