Of course Austrian people do not believe manipulations like the funny one
of Mr. Lukashenko - and his opinion has no meaning who are informed.

BUT: the interview, which Lukashenko was talking about, was not released
by Austrian Press Agency, yet. You may this verify via the searching tool
on www.apa.at

The quote of Mr. Lukashenko, in which he compares Belarus with Austria,
was not reported in any Austrian newspaper, radio or TV report until
today (March 24th, 2008)

There is no independent media in Austria rolling the propaganda drum for
Mr. Lukashenko - no journalist would report something without objective
value - and for advertisement on his own even Lukashenko has to pay.

It would be a good investment - because his image in Austria is inferiour.
His recent PR-managers did a lausy job for the fortune they were given.

Anyway: it could be interesting, which role Raiffeisen was playing before
and during the undercover transfer of MDS (Privet & Velcom) - which
was done without a tender to Austria Telekom last year. This was not
a deal between private companies - it was done by companies, where
the government of Belarus was an significant owner WITH an enterprise,
which majority (27%) is owned by the Austrian state.

Was the government of Austria informed about this deal? It looks like
that, because no one of the democrates governing Austria lost a word.
Even EU-comissioner, Mrs. Benita Ferrero-Waldner (she is an Austrian
diplomate) lost a word.
