The Belarusian authorities say the ban of visiting the unrecognized republics is caused by “danger of such trips”.
As Rosbalt reports, Georgian deputy foreign minister Alexander Nalbandov explained: “as the deplorable fact of occupation of our regions took place, we called on most of the states to take into account that any commercial activity in the occupied regions is illegal, more over it is dangerous.”
He emphasized the step of Belarus’s should be given high appreciation as this country suffers from “Russia’s colossal oppression”.
We remind that Belarus hasn’t recognized Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Tbilisi supposes this fact had a great impact on deterioration in the Russian-Belarusian relations.
It also should be noticed that Mikheil Saakashvili and Alyaksandr Lukashenka had an unofficial meeting in Crimea and discussed the development of bilateral relations.
