Belarusian diplomats are not going to Bishkek yet

Official Minsk has not made a decision on returning Belarusian diplomats to Kyrgyzstan yet.

This statement was said by the Head of Information Department - the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Andrei Savinykh at the press briefing on Thursday in Minsk, according to Interfax.

“The issue of returning Belarusian diplomats to Kyrgyzstan is still under consideration as before, a decision has not been taken yet”, Andrei Savinykh told.

Earlier Savinykh said that Belarusian diplomats accredited in Kyrgyzstan left the capital of this country on May, 13 this year “purely for security reasons”.

Viktor Denisenko, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan, “has been recalled for consultations to Minsk, and the staff of our embassy are assigned to the Belarusian capital to be at disposal of the Foreign Ministry of the country”

Earlier Savinykh said that Belarusian diplomats “are to return to their duties in Kyrgyzstan as soon as the situation normalizes there”. “I’m underlying: this decision is not bound with other factors but for safety reasons only”, emphasized the spokesman of Foreign Ministry.

According to the information of Interfax-West agency, while the situation in Bishkek developed, first to leave for Belarus were the children of the staff of the Belarusian diplomatic body, they were followed by the employees-women of the Belarusian diplomatic mission, and then was the turn of the diplomats to leave the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
