Our solidarity with political prisoners!

Belarusians show solidarity with the arrested presidential candidates, journalists, and democratic activists.

An action of solidarity will be held in front of the KGB central entrance in Minsk at 6:00 pm January 30.

Relatives, friends, colleagues, and common Belarusians are expected to come to support the KGB prisoners.

We remind that at least 30 people are still in prison for taking part in peaceful protest demonstration against rigging the presidential election results on December 19. Among them are presidential candidates Andrei Sannikov, Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu, Mikalai Statkevich, Alyaksei Mikhalevich, campaign members Zmitser Bandarenka, Alyaksandr Fyaduta, Anatol Lyabedzka, Syarhei Vaznyak, Syarhei Martseleu, Pavel Sevyarynets, Alyaksandr Arastovich, journalists Iryna Khalip and Alyaksandr Atroshchankau, activist Anastasia Palazhanka, and others.

Similar public actions will be held in different cities around the world.

The representatives of the Belarusian diaspora in Belgium are going to picket the EU Council building at 9:00 am on January 31, before the briefing of the EU foreign ministers in Brussels. Andrei Sannikov’s election agent Zmitser Barodka will take part in the picket. Belarusians plan to carry out a picket on the same place from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm.

A picket in Paris will be held at the Place du Châtelet from 12 noon till 1:00 pm on January 30.
