Solidarity actions in Minsk (Photo, video)

Activists of European Belarus civil campaign held actions of solidarity with Belarusian political prisoners.

Young people gathered near St Joseph Church and Holy Spirit Cathedral with candles and portraits of political prisoners to pray for the imprisoned opposition leaders.

Activists also handed out leaflets with information about Belarusian political prisoners near Nyamiha metro station.

Scores of graffiti calling to release Belarusian prisoners of the regime appeared in Minsk streets on Solidarity Day.

Activists left portraits of Andrei Sannikov, Zmitser Bandarenka, Ales Byalyatski and other political prisoners in crowded places.
