“Mock” exchange rate - Br 9800 per 1 US dollar

The exchange rate fixed today is mostly a benchmark one, but it is to have influence on the black market exchange rate undoubtedly.

As buh.by website informs with a reference to bidders, an additional trading session held at the currency exchange today resulted in an exchange rate of Br 9,800 per 1 US dollar.

The trading session started with one-minute silence in remembrance of Yaroslavl Lokomotiv club hockey players killed in an air crash.

The date of opening a full-fledged additional trading session has not been officially announced yet, but September 15 is called the most probable one, “Nasha Niva” writes.
