Lazy Belarusians, homosexuals, financial bubbles, cyber protection from China

Lazy Belarusians, homosexuals, financial bubbles, cyber protection from China

Aliaksandr Lukashenka laid out theses of how he sees the country’s independence.

Laziness and parasitism are spreading wider and wider in the Belarusian society. Subjective threats to the independence of the country hide in these processes. Aliaksandr Lukashenka expressed such an opinion making a speech at a ceremonial gathering on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.

The ruler noted that it is more often that you can hear: “Why would I do anything myself? There is the state, it should take care of me”.

“I will say straight away and directly: it is a dangerous delusion that the state must do everything and for everyone. I will tell more rigidly – it is a direct way to the degradation of the nation, stagnation and decline”, - the dictator warned.

In his speech Lukashenka spoke on other problems, important in his opinion.

Rebellion fire

“First of all, we have ensured the unity of the nation, internal peace. It is exactly against our unity that all external attempts to start the fire of a rebellion or a destructive revolution in Belarus break. It is exactly the unity of the nation that is the fundament of our economic development”, - the ruler said.

At the same time he noted: “Together with our closest allies, first of all brotherly Russia, we ensure the external security of our country and the protection of Western frontier of the Union State. I believe, no one will think of threatening Belarus with a war today.”

Sale of national wealth and blowing of financial bubbles

The ruler highlighted that, having created our own socio-economic model, we have also ensured economic security. According to him, Belarus feeds itself and supplies others with foodstuffs. “Our industrial products, despite tough competition, make their way to foreign markets. The country lives decently, earning with its intelligence and work, not with selling national wealth and blowing of financial bubbles”. – Lukashenka said.

China will help watch over Belarusians

“I was often criticized for calling the United States a modern dictatorship. I never wanted to offend or insult this great country. But aren’t the attempts of total surveillance on a world-wide scale an unmistakable sign of dictatorial and totalitarian manners? And it is not only on the part of the United States”, – he claimed.

“Our networks, databases, communication channels and also the private lives of our citizens must be reliably protected from any foreign infringement”, - Lukashenka said.

According to him, people in Belarus realize that in modern circumstances it is easier to tell than to do. “But we do not have another way out – the planet has already entered the age of non-declared cyber wars, and we do not have a right to lose there”, - the ruler claimed.

Lukashenka admitted that “alone we are unable to resist to global technologies”. “That is why we should sharply increase our cooperation with our allies and first of all with China, a country that managed to create an effective system to protect the national cyber space”, - he said.

Same-sex marriages are too blame for all

“Discussions around so-called same-sex marriages that have recently flared up with new strength again, - the ruler said. – are not just an annoying particular episode. It is a tragic sign of the general moral crisis and blindness of the Western world. This also tells of the weakening of the inner will”.
