Viktar Lukashenka attended F1’s final race in UAE

The elder son of the dictator had a holiday in the United Arab Emirates.

Last weekend the ruler’s advisor on national security issues, Viktar Lukashenka attended the attended Grand Prix in Abu-Dhabi, and then held negotiations with the members of the ruling family, local mass media inform.

Lukashenka’s elder son has become a frequenter of F1’s races in the United Arab Emirates. For a few years in a row he is a guest of honour of the Grand Prix Abu-Dhabi. A special invitation to visit Abu-Dhabi is received from the ruling family of the emirate. This time the race was observed from the VIP gallery by Serbian president Tomislav Nikolić, Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov, the president of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, tut.by writes.

However the stay of Lukashenka’s elder son in the UAE was not limited to the race only. On Tuesday, November 25, he held talks with high-ranking local officials. In particular, Viktar Lukashenka and “the accompanying delegation” were received by Vice Prime Minister and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the UAE, General Lieutenant Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During the meeting, which was held in the Staff of Abu-Dhabi police, “the sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, and the ways of enhancing relations between the two countries,” the official report following the results of the visit reads.
