What is to happen to salary of Slonim worsted-spinning mill?

-For several days, there have been talks that workers may be deprived of 100% bonus. If the salary is Br4 million, then it may be cut by as much as a million. But Taіsa Lebedz, the Deputy Director for Economics, did not prove the information about possible bonus deprivation.

- How can we deprive workers of their bonus? If a person works hard we will pay it out. If one does not perform his duties, of course, he will be punished, as it happened before. The released Decree does not touch upon the issue. There will not be any cuts in salaries in the near future. Now we pay full salary for December", Taisa Lebedz said.

It should be noted that under Decree No. 5 "On strengthening of the requirements with respect to managerial personnel and employees of organizations", the administration may deprive employees, committed a disciplinary offence, of a bonus for the year.

Last autumn, the workers of Slonim worsted-spinning mill were tried to cut salary. The director of the enterprise signed an order "On Implementation of the Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 744", under which the workers were not paid wage indexation for about Br400 000. However, after the collective treatment of 200 workers in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, where they announced their intention to strike, the order was abandoned.
