Baranavichy workers are paid out salary with a bed linen

At Baranavichy cotton factory some part of the salary is paid out with its products — bed linen.

A reader, an employee of the enterprise, informed "Nasha Niva" about it.

This was made due to the crisis. There was an order to hand out bonuses with products. I have, for example, regular rate of pay only a million, the rest Br2.5 million is the award. Those who work only for salary, will be given money, the rest people will get money and a few sets of bed linen", the man complains.

There is a small average salary in the enterprise: Br3-4 million. In November the enterprise cut off the award although people worked hard and expected high salary. And now, he says, the company has no money, so it has been decided to opt out of paying bonuses. This is a temporary measure, introduced for two months as yet.

The accounting office has confirmed the information about "linen awards", but for an explanation we have been sent to the Director for Economy Alena Pasiukevich.

She asks people to wait for a while: "All the staff gets bonuses with our products. One needs to wait for a month. We do this for the first time; perhaps it also may occur in January. But is also depends on credits. This situation is observed not only in our enterprise".
