Aliaksandr Makayeu was detained and punished two times.
He was found guilty of “violating rules of organising and holding mass events”, Viasna human rights centre reports.
He was detained and tried two times by the same people – chief of the Tsentralny district police department Artur Shakhlai and judge of the Tsentralny district court Viktoria Shabunia.
Aliaksandr Makayeu was sentenced to 15 days in custody at the first trial and issued a fine of 50 penalty units at the second one.
The question arises why the same offence has different punishments.
