Belshina fans boycott matches due to police

The fifth home match the fan's tribune of Babruisk stadium Spartak is empty.

FC Belshina fans explain their absence with police actions. "Police's back-looking made us leave a sector", fans wrote at their forum.

Fans say that local riot policemen chase them, behave rudely, insult and humiliate them. It has become an ordinary thing, they say.

Not only fans, but ordinary people were offended with such behavior. One Babruisk dweller even had her hair checked HRC Viasna informs.

Until the beginning of the season there were a lot of talks and promises that everything would be done for fans, police would be more loyal, but, unfortunately, it was just empty words. Only few minutes needed to understand it! Of course, I understand this is their work, but when you, your wife and child come to look at a favorite team and they check you on the entrance from top to toe as if you are a "terrorist", make you put all your things out of the bag and touch the bottom, check a child's backpack. Then me and my wife were told to take off jackets, and even the most comic one, we were told to turn up trousers and my wife's hair was checked! What the hell?! As if she hides there a knife or a bomb! –What does it mean? Today I saw that a few companies regret it and just left!», one of Babruisk dwellers wrote on the official page of FC Belshina.
