Opposition activist Uladzimir Kishkurno died

Activist Uladzimir Kishkurno, 77, died at hospital after a car crash.

Radio Svaboda learnt it from his friend film director Valer Mazynski.

Kishkurno had a car accident near the town of Ivatetsvichy on August 2. He was driving to a health resort. He felt unwell and crashed into a MAZ truck at a high speed. Kishkurno received serious lung and liver injuries.

Uladzimir Kishkurno had a heart attack two years ago.

The date and the place of the funeral is yet unknown.

Uladzimir Kishkurno is an artist and a member of the patriotic movement. He was an activist of the BPF party, helped to clean Kurapaty memorial complex and erected crosses.
