Russian Missile's Upper Stage Crashes Into House In Belgorod Region

A woman was injured.

The upper stage of a Russian rocket has fallen in the town of Stroitel, Belgorod Region. A woman was injured in the incident, ASTRA reports.

The accident occurred in the morning of March 17. Information about it leaked to Telegram channels two days later.

According to it, the missile part collapsed at 8 Troitskaya Street. A house was damaged and one woman was injured.

It may have been part of a Russian air defence missile trying to repel a drone attack on the Russian Federation or fighting against raids of Russian volunteers who were destroying military facilities on the territory of Belgorod region. The air defence missile has a self-destruct device so that only its upper stage can fall to the ground.
