Strike On Sevastopol: British Ministry of Defence Messed Up Russia And Its Fleet

Russia has not just lost control over the Black Sea.

British Secretary of State for Defence Grant Shapps messed up the Russians after another successful attack by Ukraine on the military infrastructure in Sevastopol, temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.

Recall that as a result of the missile strike, which was delivered on the night of March 24, the large landing ships Yamal and Azov, as well as the reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs, were damaged.

According to Shapps, this indicates that Russia has not only lost control over the Black Sea, but is not even able to ensure the safety of its fleet in ports.

“Putin's continued illegal occupation of Ukraine is exacting a massive cost on Russia's Black Sea Fleet which is now functionally inactive. Russia has sailed the Black Sea since 1783 but is now forced to constrain it's fleet to port. And even there Putin's ships are sinking!" the Secretary of State for Defence said.
