Words of bureaucrats cannot be taken on trust.

The Chairman of the Conservative Christian Party of the Belarusian Popular Front (CCP-BPF) Zyanon Paznyak has commented on the conflict over the construction of an office centre next to Kurapaty.

"Young people, volunteers have promptly thrown their weight behind Kurapaty and done it persistently, and even atrociously. That cock won't fight. The physical presence of protesters on the construction site has drawn attention of the society to lawlessness and now holds the process on public. And this is an essential factor in the fight for Kurapaty," Zyanon Paznyak writes on the party's website.

He has no doubts that the law has been violated.

"The tender was held in 2013. At the same time the land plot was excluded from the preservation area in 2014. Hence, the tender is illegal. This is the matter of the Prosecutor's Office - why a construction site is planned on the territory of the preservation area without coordination with the Ministry of Culture, and later it is excluded from the preservation area," Paznyak says.

The politician believes that the absence of an effective coordination of actions with the society, as well as the construction without an adopted detailed project on illegally allocated and purchased land.

"Our activists addressed to the Ministry of Culture, the Prosecutor's Office, the Investigative Committee and the Minsk City Executive Committee with relevant claims," Zyanon Paznyak wrote.

Despite the removal of the construction equipment from the site near Kurapaty, Zyanon Paznyak is convinced that the Kurapaty issue will be open.

"The protection should be continued, especially in the legal field that is connected with bureaucrats which play with laws and construction sites. The fight cannot be ceased now, as well as protests. The regime bureaucrats are not trustworthy. There should be legal decisions and actions, correction of violations and deficiencies. Justice must take the floor. And the land plot should be returned to the Kurapaty (this is mandatory!)," the Chairman of the Conservative Christian Party of the Belarusian Popular Front is convinced.
