Aliaksei Paulouski proposed to picture the dictator in the image of a "barge hauler at a subbotnik."

Ideologists of the Mahiliou regional executive committee consider it inexpedient to install a sculptural composition "Barge haulers at a subbotnik" in the regional center, which was proposed by a group of Mahiliou residents, ает 6tv.by informs.

Back in September, 17 Mahiliou residents, upon the initiative of civil activist Aliaksei Paulouski, appealed to the authorities of Mahiliou and Minsk with a request to erect in these cities sculptural compositions called "Barge haulers at a subbotnik", symbolizing the "work" of Lukashenka during the republican subbotniks.

One of the signers proposed to put one monument in Mahiliou, at the bridge over the Dnieper to the Dnieper descent; and the second one in Minsk, opposite the Olympic Gymnastics Center for Rhythmic Gymnastics. The Mahiliou City Executive Committee considered it inappropriate to install a sculptural composition, and according to Pavel Skalaban, the head of the main department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs, the creation of works of monumental art at the expense of the budget is not provided. Aliaksei Paulouski appealed the official answer of the Mahiliou City Executive Committee in the Mahiliou Regional Executive Committee.

In her response to Paulouski, head of the regional department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs Katsiaryna Muzychenka recalled that for the creation of works of monumental and monumental decorative art, a preliminary design is being developed, which is created for the purpose of defining a figurative and artistic design, architectural and spatial composition, the cost of the work of monumental and monumental and decorative art, and must include the physical parameters and parameters of their spatial solution.

"The creation of works of monumental and monumental and decorative art is carried out on the basis of the conclusion of the Ministry of Culture," — Muzychenka noted.

"In general, the Main Directorate supports the position of the Mahiliou City Executive Committee on the inexpediency of installing the composition "Barge haulers at a subbotnik", — stated in the response to the civil activist.

"We are shown every year how one and the same person is carrying a log. Therefore, this should be perpetuated and bring profit to our country from tourists, "— said Aliaksei Paulouski, promising to appeal the response of the Mahiliou authorities in court.
