Inventor of Fomachkin Action to Build a House in Drazdy

The Minsk City Executive Committee appoints owners of last free land plots in Drazdy-2, earlier Vesninka village.

It will be recalled that in October 2016 the head of Lukashenka's Administration Natallia Kachanava got the land plot there. NN.by is informed that the distribution of land plots continues.

49 year-old Chairman of the Paralympic Committee of Belarus Aleh Shepel will be other resident of Drazdy-2.

Decision № 400/1 of the Minsk City Executive Committee on allocation of 15 acres of land in the water protection zone dates from February 2, 2017.

It will be recalled that in Minsk the land for houses should be given under following criteria: people with many children requiring housing improvements come first. If there are no ones who wish a land plot, it is set for an auction. Shepel's plot was not in a free access.

A mentioned above Natallia Kachanava and Belarusian-Russian astronaut Aleh Navitski will be the nearest neighbors of Shepel.

Shepel’s house will locate directly behind the house of Kachanava. The construction has not started yet.

Who is Aleh Shepel? He was born in a village near Bykhau in 1969. In childhood he lost his mother, and his father placed him at a care home for children with poor eye sight. Aleh went in for sports and got into the USSR national team and won the Paralympics. Shepel has 5 gold medals in the Soviet and Belarusian teams. He also won the Futsal World and Europe Championship.

When Shepel headed the association of the sight-disabled persons (16 thousand people) he closely engaged in BelTIZ business structure - production of various equipment, household appliances, nails... Besides, the association owns the network of hotels.

Since 2002 Shepel has headed the Paralympic Committee. Last year he came to light in the scandal when he promised to appear at the opening ceremony of Paralympic Games-2016 with the Belarusian and the Russian flag in solidarity with Russians disqualified for doping. Shepel himself did not dare implementing the performance and delegated the campaign to Andrei Fomachkin.

Fomachkin got an apartment in Moscow suburbs. Shepel will build a house in Drazdy-2.
