Authorities Came Up With New Get-Rich Scheme At Expense Of Those Who Built Apartments

The inhabitants of Kalodzishchy continue to struggle with the Minsk region construction management.

The homebuilding consumer cooperative BTI-2007 built houses in Kalodzishchy at the order of the Minsk Region Communal Construction Department. They were commissioned two years ago, but some members of the cooperative still cannot get a paper on the registration of ownership and keys to the apartments, Belsat reports.

The matter is that the project design of houses has been changed: for example, instead of 12-meter foundation piles, 24-meter long ones were used. Because of this, the cost of housing has increased by almost a quarter. But the members of the cooperative were informed about this only at the end of the construction. Legal proceedings and expert evaluations have had no effect. But people do not lose hope and are going to see the chairman of the Supreme Court.
