Politicians told the Polish media about the wave of repressions in Belarus.

The Polish Sejm held a conference of deputies of the "Civil Platform" in connection with the situation in Belarus, Radio Racyja reports.

The politicians told the Polish media about the wave of repressions, including mass arrests and beatings of those who disagree with the policy pursued by Lukashenka’s regime.

Among other things, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for the Affairs of Belarus Robert Tyszkiewicz urged the government to operatively restore the old rules of recruitment to the program named after Kastus Kalinouski:

- Once again there are Belarusian students who are persecuted. Therefore, we appeal to the Minister of Education and the Polish government to return the program of Kalinouski in the form it functioned before, namely, it was addressed to ordinary students of Belarusian educational institutions, where they were expelled and persecuted.

Also, Robert Tyszkiewicz recalled the repressions against the Belarusian journalists and urged the Polish authorities to immediately ensure stable and reliable financing of the Belsat TV channel.
