Hrodna Activists Are To Be Tried For "Internet Picket" Again

The authorities accuse Volha and Siarhei Verameyanka of "a virtual protest."

The story with Volha and Siarhei Verameyanka’s photographs against the background of a white-red-white flag, posted in the social networks, continues, Racyja Radio reports.

Policemen appeal against the decision of the Leninski district court, which has closed the case due to the lack of evidence. The policemen tried to prove that the photographs were a manifestation of a "picket on the web":

– I’m still preparing all the documents, I think they will be useful, if not now, then later. I understand perfectly well that all those Vaitseshkas, Kazlouskis are not particularly eager to be responsible for their actions, but they will bear responsibility for what they’ve done. I think that their initiative is coming back at them, that the case is going to drag on. Until today's system of power exists, there cannot be any easing. Perhaps, just another game with the East or the West.

The trial on this case will be held in Hrodna at 9 am on July 11.
