Rebellious head of the Krychau police-officers will appeal against the court decision.

Former head of the Krychau district police department Lieutenant Colonel Ihar Vusik will appeal against the decision of the Tsentralny District court of Minsk, which recognized the decision to dismiss him to be justified and lawful. He will appeal against the decision of the court in the coming days, Vusik informed the reporter of Mahiliouski Rehiyon.

On June 28, the Tsentralny District court of Minsk finished consideration of the lawsuit, which the former head of the Krychau district police department Ihar Vusik had filed against the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, refusing to satisfy the claim in full.

Ihar Vusik demanded to restore him at work and to oblige the Ministry of Internal Affairs to pay him 10 thousand Belarusian rubles for moral harm, and to abolish the disciplinary punishment imposed on him, which followed the official investigation carried out by the Interior Ministry's Inherent Security Department.

At the end of the trial, Ihar Vusik offered the defendant's representative to come to an agreement, if he changes the reason for his dismissal for a different basis, namely, upon mutual agreement of the parties. However, the court refused to accept the motion.

Ihar Vusik says that during the trial in Minsk, not a single of his motions was accepted, witnesses were not summoned and questioned. According to Vusik, Judge Aliaksandr Dluzhneuski for some reason did not want to take into account all his arguments.

"I will certainly appeal against the decisions of the Tsentralny district court in higher instances. I will go to the mat," – Ihar Vusik says.

We remind that Lieutenant Colonel Ihar Vusik was dismissed from the internal affairs depertment after a group of policemen from the Krychau district police department, headed by him, wrote an appeal to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Ihar Shunevich about gross violations in the Krychau district police department. Apart from I. Vusik, two other policemen-signatories – police major Yury Dubanau and lieutenant Andrei Shashkou were fired from the Ministry of Internal Affairs for different reasons.

On June 5, after unsuccessful attempts to achieve justice at the prosecutor's office, Ihar Vusik appealed to the Tsentralny district court of Minsk with a lawsuit on cancelling the Interior Ministry’s order to dismiss him.
