Russian Paratroopers To Land In Belarus

Russian airborne troops will take part in competitions in Belarus, Kazakhstan and China.

As the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informed interfax.by, Russian paratroopers will take part in three contests of the "Army Games," which will be held in Belarus, Kazakhstan and China.

"At this stage, all teams have completed preparations for international competitions, they are ready to leave for the locations where the competitions are to be held," – Deputy Commander of the Airborne Forces Lieutenant-General Andrei Kholzakov said.

"As part of the team, paratroopers will compete in the contest "Paratroop Platoon," which this year will be held at one of the mountain ranges of the People's Republic of China, and in the contest "UAV Squads Competition" which is to be held in the Republic of Kazakhstan," – the Department informed.

"Besides, three servicemen of a separate special-purpose brigade of the Airborne Forces joined the national team of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which is going to Belarus to take part in the competition "Commonwealth Warrior," – the Department added.
