Salihorsk Enterprise Director Took Loans And Fled Abroad

The IC put the borrower on the international wanted list.

The Salihorsk district department of the Investigative Committee instituted criminal proceedings against an official accused of the intentional bankruptcy of a controlled commercial organization. Now the whereabouts of the accused is being established. He was put on international wanted list, BelTA informs.

According to the investigation, a man, who was the director and a shareholder of a private enterprise, in order not to repay the accounts payable, deliberately made the company insolvent. Not wishing to pay, he alienated the property of the enterprise he headed – concluded contracts of sale with controlled entities on knowingly unprofitable terms.

Alienating the assets (equipment, machines and other property), the head thus increased the insolvency of the firm for a total amount of Br95 thousand. As a result of such actions, the enterprise was declared bankrupt, which caused damage to the creditors on an especially large scale.

An evidence base is being collected on the criminal case, including searches, interrogations of witnesses, and expert examination of financial and economic activities. The investigation took measures to seize a part of the alienated assets worth more than Br100 thousand.
