Public sector enterprises are not able to pay their bills.

Last year, the number of bankruptcy cases filed to the court increased almost twice in Belarus, compared to 2014 – by 48%. This was reported in the interview to the magazine "The Court Herald" by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court, Chairman of the Judicial Board of Economic Affairs Vasil Dziamidovich, Euroradio writes. According to him, the cases of bankruptcy of state organizations or organizations having a share in state property became more frequent. At the end of 2014, there were 41 such cases in economic courts, and in 2016, there were 106 cases (there were more than 2.5 of them).

Dziamidovich also informed that at the end of last year, there were only 12 cases of bankruptcy of agricultural organizations, and on May 1, 2017, there were 102 of them.
