Baranavichy Activist Catches Officials In Act

The officials’ systematic irresponsibility before the Belarusian people should be urgently disrooted.

Top-ranked Belarusian officials entrust subordinate structures with consideration of people’s complaints. As a result, complaints often go exactly to those persons about whom the citizens complained. Truth seekers gain nothing, law-breakers live peacefully further on. Anecdotic situations happen when considering complaints, says member of the United Civil Party from Baranavichy Mikalai Charnavus Jr.:

- I filed several complaints, some claims. I received a generic reply with no indication to which of my letters in particular they replied with that. They replied to an indefinite complaint, letter, with no date – one just have to sit there trying to guess what they meant, what they replied to,” – the activist from Baranavichy told Radio Racyja.

According to Mikalai Charnavus, such systematic irresponsibility of the officials before their co-citizens must be disrooted. The rolling snowball of problems will only grow, given such attitude of the officials to solving them.
