Minskers: Russian Soldier, Go Home And Never Return

A protest rally against the military exercises West-2017 was held in Minsk.

Activists posted posters "Russian soldier, go home" and "Russian soldier, go home and never return" in the Minsk center.

The activist Kiryl Vasileuski wrote about it on Facebook.

"Minskers are "happy" to see occupationists on the streets of their city… Almost as "happy" as the Praguers in 1968," – the activist wrote.

Russian-Belarusian military exercises West-2017 are to begin in Belarus on September 14. The exercises will take place on 6 training grounds: Lepelski, Barysauski, Losvida (Vitsebsk region), on the training grounds Ruzhanski and Damanauski (Brest region) of the Air Forces and Air Defense Forces, as well as near Dretun (30 km from Polatsk).

Many Belarusian and European politicians, as well as the military, believe that Russian troops will remain in Belarus after the exercises.
