Activists of the REP Trade Union Supported Ihar Komlik from Hlybokaye

Residents of Hlubokaye joined the wave of solidarity with the political prisoner.

Members of the REP Trade Union (Radio and Electronic Industry) sent postcards to political prisoner Ihar Komlik and supported him, Radio Racyja informs.

It will be recalled that on 2 August 2017 the Department of Financial Investigation of the State Control Committee of Belarus conducted a search and seizure of computers and financial documents in the office of the REP Trade Union.

REP chairman Henadz Fyadynich and accountant Ihar Komlik were detained. Fyadynich was interrogated and released, Ihar Komlik remains in custody. Human rights organizations of Belarus on August 3 said that they considered Ihar Komlik a political prisoner.
