Former Health Minister of Belarus, famous scientist, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Uladzimir Ulaschyk died on January 17, 2018 at the age of 75, tut.by writes.

Uladzimir Ulaschyk was a laureate of the State Prize of the BSSR, honored scientist, doctor of medical sciences, professor, academician. His scientific research is devoted to topical problems of physical medicine, medical and biological physics.

More than 25 years he headed the department of physiotherapy and balneology of BelMAPO, was elected a deputy of the Supreme Council of the BSSR.

In 1983-1986, Uladzimir Ulaschyk served as deputy minister and chief of the IV Main Directorate of the Ministry of Health of the BSSR. In 1986-1993 he was Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

In 2005-2010, the academician worked as the director of the Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Since 2010, he was the head of the department, the main research associate of the Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
