Fugitive Businessman Averyanau’s Property Being Sold Out

The amusement park “Dreamland” and the agrofirm “Ilya” are on sale at the auction.

The amusement park “Dreamland” and the agrofirm “Ilya”, controlled by the CJSC “Rostem” that is owned by Yury Averyanau, are on sale. This follows from the information posted on the website of the Unified State Register of Bankruptcy Information, tut.by writes.

About two years ago, Yury Averyanau incited a “war” with creditors for his assets. Banks and contractors asked to pay off debts that were formed because of the implementation of investment projects.

Later it turned out that the businessman settled in Europe. Then the information that Averyanau’s companies one by one went into bankruptcy, started leaking.

At the end of 2016, the Economic Court of Minsk recognized the Rostem as economically insolvent. The company was reorganized, and the plan of the reorganization was approved. The period of rehabilitation expires on June 28, 2018.

As part of the rehabilitation procedure, the lenders decided to put two assets on sale. They plan to make at least Bn 6,74 million on the agrofirm “Ilya”, while the price for the “Dreamland” is Bn 29,1 million. “The agrofirm has already been put on sale twice, the “Dreamland” — once. So far there have been no applications,” — the anti-crisis manager of the Rostem said.

The structure of the Rostem also includes the market of building materials in the Uruchcha microdistrict. Will it be put up for auction in the near future? “The plans for rehabilitation envisage this. However, I do not think that [the market will be put up for auction] in the nearest two months,” — the anti-crisis manager clarified.

The proceedings in the case of bankruptcy were started with regard to another asset of Averyanau — the CJSC “Trading world — Kaltso”, and the competition management was opened. In December 2017, the Economic Court of the Minsk region postponed the consideration of the case, having appointed an examination of the financial condition and solvency of the company. The examination was entrusted to the RUE “Belsudekspertobespechenie”.

The examination is supposed to resolve two issues: is the reorganization plan proposed by the manager of the CJSC Trading World — Kaltso and approved by the November 28, 2017 meeting of creditors, justified? And is it possible to restore the solvency of the debtor according to the proposed reorganization plan?

The trial on this case was postponed until February 7.

In the autumn, the Investigatory Committee took over the criminal case against Yury Averyanau, as well as a number of heads of commercial structures in connection with tax evasion by business entities. Soon the law-enforcers detained six top managers of Averyanau. The businessman himself was put on the international wanted list.
