Slonim Residents Collect Signatures In Favor Of White-Red-White Flag

Activists want the ministry of culture to include the white-red-white flag in the list of historical values.

Members of the Slonim union of democratic forces started collecting signatures in support of the white-red-white flag, Radio Racyja reports.

“We insist that the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus include the white-red-white flag in the list of historical values of the Republic of Belarus,” – the collective appeal says.

The signatures under the appeal will be sent to Lukashenka’s administration, the Ministry of Culture and the “house of representatives” of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the head of the BCD Slonim organization, Ivan Biadko, about 50 signatures have already been collected.
