Lukashenka Not To Fly To Paris

Miasnikovich will replace the dictator at the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the World War I end.

Chair of the “Council of Republic” Mikhail Miasnikovich will represent Belarus at the festive events dedicated to the end of the First World War in Paris. Tut.by learnt this from the press-center of the “Council of Republic”.

Mikhail Miasnikovich’s working visit to France will take place on November 10-12. On November 11, the Chair of the “Council of Republic” will partake in the main festive events dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the First World War end, the memorial ceremony near the Arc de Triomphe, and also in the Paris Peace Forum.

- No speech by Mikhail Miasnikovich is planned at the events, but he will communicate with the participants thereof on the sidelines, - the spokesperson for the “Council of Republic” informed.

Moreover, in the framework of the visit Miasnikovich also plans to meet with President of the French Senate Gérard Larcher and representatives of the Belarusian diaspora in France.
